Camp Greenhaven (our property) is 5 acres and has plenty of space for parking and camping.

Most of the property is rural, uneven prairie. Keep this in mind when choosing footwear.

Young children are welcome at the reception, but not at the ceremony (childcare will be provided).

Wedding Gifts

As you can tell, we’re investing a lot in this land. Rather than physical gifts (we already have too much stuff) we would love donations to keep building this out into the perfect property to share with our loved ones. We also could use a vacation. Pick one of the below!

Todd's Party Barn

To make Todd’s ultimate dream come true, we’re working on renovating our old barn into a full-blown party space for band jams and get-togethers! Every little bit helps.

Sarah's Sanctuary

Sarah has a habit of attracting rescue animals and we’d like help to continue creating a safe place to welcome more in. Goats, ducks, maybe a rescue donkey or two. Who knows what will fall into her lap next.

Honeymoon Fund

We’re planning on heading to Maui for our honeymoon. We have lodging sorted, but anything you can contribute to travel/fun money would be greatly appreciated.

Accessibility

Our home is mostly wheelchair accessible, please let us know if you will need accommodation and we will figure it out. We can coordinate closer parking, earlier arrival.

Most immediate areas are accessed by [mostly flat] concrete, gravel, or grass.

There will be outdoor restrooms (the fancy ones!).

Allergies

Our family includes a lot of furry creatures, dogs outside, cats inside, and rabbits in the Hare Lair. It’s also early summer.

If you have allergies, the bathrooms will be stocked with things to assist, but it’s hard to make the place completely allergy-free. Please plan accordingly.

Dogs

Our entire property is fenced in, if you’d like to bring your dog please contact us separately to coordinate.

Food & Drink

We landed a taco truck! La Tia Angelina is making Todd’s taco dreams come true. We’re covering food for the main reception, but they’re also sticking around for however long after to feed anyone who shows up for the after party only.

Beer, wine, and we’re working up a few special cocktails to fit the theme.

As we’re encouraging camping and it’s our own property, feel free to BYOB.

You can also bring your own snacks! There’s a country store nearby if you need ice for coolers.

Kids

We request that the short ceremony be child free, however everyone is welcome to party after! Our home will be open during the ceremony, and we will have sitter(s) inside and available, as well as activities to entertain them.

(If you live nearby and have a preferred sitter, send them our way!)

Our house is about 20 ft away from where the ceremony is being held, so if there is an emergency we will be very close.

The after party will have a band an an open bar, kids are more than welcome to camp out overnight too. We’ll let you decide your comfort level around this. 😎

Transportation

Uber and Lyft both pick up at our propety – don’t ask how we know. We highly encourage these options if you don’t have a designated driver and aren’t into camping!

Carpooling is also great – we have plenty of parking, but who knows how many will arrive for the afterparty.

Vibes

Yes, the dress code sounds vague.

For those of us who need a little more direction, here’s our theme:

Throwback summer camp!

Outdoors, making friends, arts and crafts, staying up way too late stargazing while listening to classic rock.

The wedding party will be wearing a mix of patterend short sleeve shirts, linen dresses/pantsuits in fun 70s patterns. Not a lot of matching going on, so you don’t have to either.

It’s the day after the 4th of July, so we want everyone to be comfortable to join us in our happiness (and campiness).
